When we are young, we are often asked what we want to be when we grow up. The answers vary from astronaut, doctor, musician, or even the President. Our dreams and aspirations seem boundless at that age, but as we grow up and face the harsh realities of life, many of us lose sight of our dreams. We are told to be practical, to take the safe route, and to focus on what is realistic. We are told to give up on our dreams.
But the truth is, giving up on our dreams is one of the biggest mistakes we can make in life. Our dreams are what motivate us, give us purpose, and make life worth living. They are the things that make us excited to wake up in the morning and work towards our goals. Without them, life can feel dull and meaningless.
